The Most Wonderful Time of Year

Wowzers! There is so much going on this week in the sports world and we LadyBallers are loving every minute of it!

The NHL playoffs are going on. A memorable moment of the week was when defender Dan Boyle of the Sharks scored a goal on his own team to loose the game in overtime to the Avalanche. YIKES! These games have been intense with lots of over time games, BUT I do believe Sidney Crosby will lead the Pens to the Stanley Cup!

The NFL draft starts today! Tim Tebow's name is coming outta the mouth of lots of teams and analysts, but where will this Gator end up? Will he be worth the investment? I definitely think after a few years of development in the league, Tebow has the ability to be a huge star in the NFL. Rumor has it that Roethlisberger may be traded. Is that the right move? I understand being angry at him, but it is necessary to get rid of him? He did win you rings, guys!!

The first round of the NBA playoffs has been awesome! The NBA always makes it a Lebron/Kobe show, but my oh my have these other players been proving why they are in the NBA! Kevin Durant from the Oklahoma City Thunder is showing up to win. He is staying in line as far as stats with Kobe, scoring up to 32 points a game. Darreen Williams from the Jazz has been showing up to win also! Making HUGE shots and making plays happen for the Jazz team are giving the Nuggets a hard time. The bigger name players are definatley playing to win. To quote my handsome friend Dwight Howard has been "throwing block parties" these past two games with 11 blocks in the first two games combined - and what a wonderful block party it's been!! And you've got Kobe and Lebron being... well, Kobe and Lebron...

All in all, it really is the most wonderful time of the year!!

What are you thinking?! Are the Thunder gonna wear out the Lakers?? Where will Tebow end up?? Will Dan Boyle score in the wrong goal again??
