LadyBallers Busy Weekend Recap: ESPN and NBA

Basketball, Baseball and Football, Oh My! Yep, that is right, your favorite ladies had a chock full, packed weekend and we of course want to share all the juicy details. LBTrophy

It all started Saturday when the rain and cold weather ruined the plans we had set… Farmer’s Markets and Chillounge Orlando. However, who knew this would be a blessing is disguise? We had an Orlando Magic / Duke / JJ Redick fan in town so we opted to show her how the ladies grub out, drink up and get our shoppin’ on. Yes, even though we dig our sports we still have to hold up the “Lady” part! We met up with her and had a fantastic day around Orlando. The highlight of the day, however, was when LadyBaller Lisa invited us to join her tomorrow at ESPN: The Weekend. SCORE! Excitement and giddiness ensued!

Sunday is where the icing for the top of this lovely cake of a weekend really jumped off! Jenn was already in town to hit up the Magic/Heat game and we had plans to meet up with our favorite Magic family (Karen, Josh, Grace & Will) before for dinner. Now, the addition of ESPN: The Weekend = Heaven.

We ventured around the entire park and checked out all the set ups and activities. It was so electric to have so much sports love and excitement going on all through the park. We were in a hurry since we had to head to the Magic pre-game dinner by 4:45. Unfortunately, we could not do any of the cool sport challenges as the lines were too long.

The highlights of ESPN the Weekend:

Sitting in on Baseball Tonight Q&A and seeing 2 of my favorite Phillies on one stage, joking together: John Kruk & Curt Schilling.
Meeting and shaking the hand of one of the men that developed my love for baseball: John Kruk.
